Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains what personal data Anahata Interactive collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it removed. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legalese.

The short version: we collect almost nothing. There are no user accounts and no payments on this site. Analytics only run if you explicitly accept them, and the only personal data we store is what you type into a form yourself.

Who we are

Anahata Interactive operates this website and is the data controller for the information described below. If you want to reach us about anything on this page, email hello@anahatainteractive.com or use the contact form.

What we collect

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and the Meta Pixel to understand which pages people read and which games they click through to. These tools set cookies and send data to Google and Meta respectively.

None of them load until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics script is ever added to the page and no request is made to Google or Meta. Your choice is stored in a cookie named anahata-consent so we do not ask again on every page. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail.

Contact and service enquiry forms

If you send us a message through the contact form or the services enquiry form, we store what you submitted so we can reply to you.

Form data we store
FieldWhy we need it
NameSo we know who we are replying to.
Email addressSo we can reply. We do not add it to any mailing list.
Company (enquiries only)Optional. Helps us understand the context of a business enquiry.
Service and budget range (enquiries only)Optional. Helps us route the enquiry to the right person.
Your messageThe actual thing you wanted to tell us.
A one-way hash of your IP addressUsed only for rate limiting, so a bot cannot flood the form. We never store your raw IP address — it is hashed with a secret salt before it is written, and the hash cannot be turned back into an IP address.

Retention: we keep submissions until the enquiry has been dealt with, and then delete them on request. Email us at any time and we will remove yours.

Email updates

On some pages you can give us your email address to be told when a specific game launches. We store the address and which page you signed up from, and nothing else. We only use it to send you the updates you asked for.

Every email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it removes you immediately — you do not need to email us or log in anywhere.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone.
  • We do not have user accounts, so we never store passwords for visitors.
  • We do not take payments on this site, so we never see card details.
  • We do not use advertising, profiling, or tracking cookies beyond the analytics tools named above — and those only with your consent.
  • We do not store raw IP addresses anywhere in our database.

Who else sees your data

  • Google (Analytics and Tag Manager) and Meta (Pixel) — only if you accepted analytics cookies.
  • Our email provider — used to deliver notification emails and replies.
  • Our hosting and database provider — they store the data on our behalf and may not use it for anything else.

Images, video thumbnails and other media on this site are served from our own domain, not from a third-party CDN. Embedded YouTube trailers only load after you click play, and are served through YouTube's no-cookie domain.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data of yours we hold;
  • correct it if it is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it for a particular purpose.

Email hello@anahatainteractive.com and we will action it. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back so you can choose again.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Our games

This section applies to the mobile games published by Anahata Interactive on Google Play (including Train Ride, Gridly, Mithai Masti, Idle Plants and Cyber Blocks) in addition to the sections above, which cover this website.

Advertising. Our games display ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process your device's advertising ID, IP address, coarse device information, and data about the ads you see and interact with, in order to serve, measure, and — where you have consented — personalize advertising. This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy; see “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services” (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). You can opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads > “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”). Doing so does not remove ads, but ads will no longer be based on your interests.

Analytics. Our games use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how they are played — for example session length, level progression, crashes, and which features are used. This data is collected against pseudonymous identifiers, not your name or email, and is used solely to improve the games. Firebase data is processed by Google; see https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Optional accounts and saved progress. Some of our games let you choose a player name and save your progress to our servers — for example to keep your progress across devices or appear on leaderboards. This is optional: the games are playable without it, and the player name you choose does not need to be your real name. If you use this feature, we store your chosen name and gameplay data (such as scores, progress, and in-game items) on our servers for as long as you use the game. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Deleting your data. You can request deletion of your saved player name and progress at any time by contacting us at hello@anahatainteractive.com from within the game's feedback option or directly by email, telling us the game and player name concerned. We will delete the data within 30 days. Uninstalling a game stops all further collection by that game; data already collected by Google (AdMob, Firebase) is governed by Google's retention policies.

Children. Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through one of our games, contact us at hello@anahatainteractive.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
